Silk & Iron was born where three traditions meet; the grit of bourbon-making, the spirit of the Derby, and the quiet competition of golf.
In Kentucky, those worlds share a certain rhythm. Horses and distilleries. Rolling fairways and rickhouses. The patience it takes to wait for good whiskey isn’t so different from learning how to shape a proper swing. Both reward time, repetition, and restraint.
The name comes from that balance; the polish and ceremony of silk, and the work and will of iron. It’s about taking pride in what’s made well and worn often. The pieces we make reflect that: understated, timeless, built to last, and made to be lived in.
We started with one simple goal; to create clothes that feel at home in both worlds. Something that looks right with a glass of bourbon at the bar or a bag over your shoulder on the back nine.
